Dryer Vent Cleaning

According to the National Fire Protection Agency, dirty dryer vents cause an estimated 14,000 house fires each year.

  • The leading cause of dryer inefficiency and mechanical breakdown is a dirty or blocked vent.
  • A dirty dryer vent results in longer drying time and causes excessive wear tear on your dryer.
  • Cleaning your dryer vent regularly is recommended by most appliance manufactures.
  • Regular vent cleaning can extend the life of your dryer and save you money on your energy costs.

Our Solution
The same qualified venting technicians you have trusted to service your chimney since 1990 have developed a unique dryer vent cleaning system. Our process rids your vent of accumulated lint and other foreign objects by sending specialized brushes through the entire vent. To ensure there is absolutely no mess, a heavy duty vacuum system attached outside captures all loosened particles. In most cases, work is completed in under an hour.

Our friendly, courteous technician carefully disconnects your dryer from the power source and venting system.

A rotating brush attached to flexible connecting rods is fed through the entire vent as a powerful vacuum system extracts the lint.

The rotating brush travels the complete length of the vent until it reaches the termination point outside your house.

The lint trap is thoroughly cleaned and vacuumed using specialized brushes and tools which enable us to reach areas inaccessible by the homeowner.

The picture above shows a plastic flex duct attached to the back of the dryer. This type of flex duct is very flammable and must never by used in any area of your dryer vent system. If we notice any plastic duct, we will advise you and recommend changing it.

The inside of the dryer accumulates significant amounts of lint and must also be cleaned. In most cases, we remove the back of the dryer or an access panel to thoroughly clean inside the dryer.
