Magic Touch Chimney Sweeps Inc. began in November of 1990 as a one man operation focused on cleaning chimneys and installing chimney caps in the greater Toronto area. Working from his home, the owner Marc Aubé, committed himself to providing the highest level of service possible to his clients. As a result of this commitment to excellence, his business began to grow.
In January of 1991, he opened a small 120 square foot office in Ajax, Ontario. This location provided the company with the strategic location needed to better service the main Durham to Peel corridor. By March of 1991, the company had grown to a point where it was necessary to hire its first employee. In keeping with the vision of providing only the best service available, Marc hired his brother Phil whom he knew would share his commitment to service excellence.
By 1996 the company had grown to employ 3 full time service technicians, 3 full time customer service representatives and one full time data entry/receptionist. Although there is no industry requirement to do so, Phil and Marc decided they would be able to provide better service by enrolling in a chimney certification course put on by an organization called Wood Energy Technology Transfer. Since that time they have successfully trained and certified 5 chimney technicians. Magic Touch currently employ 5 full time service technicians, 1 full time quality control supervisor and 5 full time office personnel. The company has added the cleaning of dryer vents and the installation of chimney liners to the core business of servicing and maintaining chimneys.
Servicing from Newcastle in the east to Mississauga/Brampton in the west and all points between, Magic Touch has developed a loyal, satisfied customer base and continues to be an industry leader. By maintaining at its core the commitment to providing only the best possible service, ongoing industry education for its employees and employing qualified technicians, Magic Touch has become one of the largest, most reliable chimney service companies in the Greater Toronto Area.
